Join thousands of others runners, joggers and walkers for the annual Medway Mile in Rochester.

The 13th annual Medway Mile will take place on Friday, 24 July 2020 on the day that the Olympic Games open in Tokyo and will have an Olympic and Japanese flavour.

The Medway Mile is a free, mass participation action-packed event, offering participants a chance to get try lots of free activities and join thousands in a mass mile around Rochester. It was first held in 2007 as an annual countdown event to the London 2012 Olympic Games and has now become one of the key dates in Medway's event calendar. 

This year's Medway Mile offers:

• a mass mile
• free Olympic/Paralympic-themed sporting activities and tasters
• inflatables
• arts and crafts and facepainting
• a competitive adult race (registration is seperate for this race)
• children’s races include Under 5s – Parent and toddler fun run, 5-7 years - sprint races, 8-11 years – track races
• mascot race (to register email medwaysport@medway.gov.uk)

7pm Competitive Race - Adults (16+yrs)

7.30pm Mass Participation Warm Up

Registration is free and will open on 1 April 2020. Please note medals will only be provide for children who participate in the children's races, and will be subject to availability.
